Nissan Magnite CNG : Nissan Motor India has also launched a CNG option for its popular SUV Magnite. This is not a new model, but a government-approved CNG kit that can be fitted in existing Magnite cars. Its price has been kept at ₹ 74,999, and it can be installed only at authorized fitment centers.

Where will you get this CNG kit?

In the initial phase, this facility has been started in select states, including:

  • Delhi-NCR
  • Uttar Pradesh
  • Maharashtra
  • Gujarat
  • Haryana
  • Kerala
  • Karnataka

Nissan plans to start it in other states later.

Which Magnite will be fitted with this kit?

This kit will be installed only in Magnite with 1.0 liter naturally aspirated petrol engine.

Only manual transmission variants can be converted to CNG.

There is no CNG fitment facility in turbo engine or automatic models.

Who is making this kit?

This CNG kit has been prepared by a company named Motozen. This company will also take responsibility for its testing, quality and warranty.

Warranty and Safety

A warranty of 3 years or 1 lakh km is being given on the CNG kit.

The entire fitment process will be done under government rules and safety standards.

The kit is fully certified and homologated, that is, it meets all the necessary standards.

Changes in design and features?

Even after installing the CNG kit, there will be no change in the design, interior or features of the car. Just the mileage will be better than before, which will make this SUV even more economical.

The price of Nissan Magnite CNG starts from Rs 6.89 lakh and goes up to Rs 10.02 lakh (ex-showroom).

This car is now available in six different variants.

It competes directly with vehicles like Tata Punch CNG and Hyundai Exter CNG.
