Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has levelled the charge against Prime Minister Narendra Modi of overlooking an intelligence alert which is received 48 hours before the tragic Pahalgam attack. The 18 killed on April 22 in the assault have outraged many and raised a serious question about the government’s national security approach.
Days after the Pahalgam terror incident, it is no longer peaceful
The storm in diplomatic relations between India and Pakistan was aggravated by India after the horrific terrorist attack in Pahalgam. Back, back home, a storm begins to brew after the national security allegations of Kharge.
Film “With an allegation that: ‘PM chastised and lives lost’.
During a rally in Jharkhand over ‘Save The Constitution’, Kharge also claimed that PM Modi had been told by high-level intelligence reports in the region that there would be threats. He said the intelligence led the Prime Minister not to visit Kashmir as it was not secure.
“In the unfortunate event that the prime minister was actually traceable intel, why weren’t those same resources put into the safekeeping of regular folks?” Kharge asked.
It is not an intelligence failure, but also a blunder in governance.
Courtesy? Why was the PM left vulnerable while civilians were left out? Act Asian! Kharge stressed the contradiction in actions as the Prime Minister never went to Kashmir for safety, while civilians and tourists were not protected in the area.
If that intelligence was important enough to keep our Prime Minister alive, then why wasn’t it used to save innocent civilians? “
Why protect the PM while civilians were being experimented on?
Kharge contrasted cynical responses, saying that while the Prime Minister was not allowed into Kashmir for security reasons, nothing was done to protect civilians and tourists in the area.
