PM Modi Visits Adampur Air Base After Operation Sindoor, Sends Strong Message to Pakistan

New Delhi/Adampur – PM Narendra Modi paid a rare post-operation visit to Indian Air Force base in Adampur, Punjab around 1am IST (early Tuesday) with air warriors and ground forces after a day-long nation wide appeal in national address including operation Sindoor.

Operation Sindoor: India’s Strategic Counterstrike

The move comes after Operation Sindoor -the Indian armed forces operation, launched on May 7, in response to the Pahalgam terror attack by terrorists on April 22 that killed 26 civilians (mostly tourists) in revenge for surgical strikes. Part of the precision strikes, the core objective clashed India nine terror depots — four in Pakistan and five in Pakistan occupied Kashmir related to Jaish-e-Mail Lashkar and Hizbul Mujahideen.

In what some have termed one of India’s biggest terror operations since Balakot, key terror infrastructure including the Markaz Subhan Allah in Bahawalpur and Syedna Bilal camp Muzaffarabad were destroyed.

Over 20 Air bases across India were targeted by a string of Pakistani air and drone incursions that this week ended in a deliberate escalation of hostilities.
