Under the PM Yuva 3.0 Mentorship Scheme 2025, the Government of India has taken the initiative to give a new identity to those youth who want to make a career in writing.

Scholarship of 50000 per month

This scheme will not only guide you towards becoming a famous writer, but under this, the selected writers will also be given a scholarship of ₹ 50,000 per month for six months i.e. financial assistance up to ₹ 3 lakh in total. Along with this, you will also get a great opportunity to get your book published.

Central government initiative

PM Yuva 3.0 Mentorship Scheme 2025 is a creative scheme launched by the Central Government, which aims to provide a platform to emerging writers. Its objective is to convey the cultural, social and historical heritage of India to the people through words. This scheme inspires writers to write books by going deep into the subjects.

The main objectives of this scheme are –

To provide guidance and mentorship to budding writers of India.
To promote the habit of creative writing among the youth.
To create an identity of Indian writers on the national and global platform.
The main aim is to encourage the spirit of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat through writing.
Writings are invited on three major topics decided by the government:

Contribution of Indian Diaspora in Nation Building

Under this topic, you can write articles on the following aspects:

Role of Indian Diaspora in different continents
Participation of Diaspora in Freedom Struggle
Indian Diaspora Literature
Their role in contemporary international relations

Indian Knowledge System (IKS) This includes:

Articles based on texts like Vedas, Upanishads
Ancient methods of Yoga, Meditation, Ayurveda
Indian Music, Dance and other arts
Science, Mathematics, Philosophy, Vastu etc.
Makers of Modern India (1950-2025)

In this category, you can prepare articles on these topics:

Great personalities in the field of politics, science, education, culture
Architects of India’s economic development
Social reformers and international-level leaders.

Scholarship of ₹50,000 per month for six months, i.e., financial assistance of total ₹3 lakh.
The selected books will be published at the national level.
Writers will also be given a royalty of 10% which will remain for life.

During the World Book Fair 2026, the selected writers will get an opportunity to participate in a special camp in Delhi.

Opportunity to participate in special training and mentorship sessions organized by the government.

Language and word limit

Writers can submit their entries in 22 Indian languages and English.

The maximum word limit of the proposed manuscript has been kept at 10,000 words.

This is a non-fiction genre competition.

Who can apply?: PM Yuva 3.0 Mentorship Yojana 2025

The applicant must be below 30 years of age.
It is mandatory to be an Indian citizen.
Youth from any educational background can apply.
There should be interest in writing, as well as depth of thinking and research on that subject.

Last date – 10 June 2025
Evaluation of proposals – 11 June to 10 July 2025

Jury meeting – 21 to 22 July 2025

Declaration of results – 31 July 2025

Mentorship period – 1 August 2025 to 31 January 2026

National camp – 10 to 18 January 2026 (in New Delhi)

Publication of books – till 31 May 2026
