Post Ceasefire: Chandigarh again on High Alert
In a day, there have been multiple decisions taken about the war happening between India – Pakistan. Soon after the announcement of the Ceasefire, Pakistan attacked some of the areas in India, violating the terms of the Ceasefire. This action by Pakistan has put India in a situation from which it cannot back down.

This action by Pakistan is seen as an act of war, as they have violated the regulation of ceasefire.
After 5 pm the ceasefire was agreed between India and Pakistan, and soon after around 2 hours Pakistan started the drone attacks again on India. Pakistan has targeted all the areas which are near the border.

Chandigarh is now again on the High Alert, as around 11:30 pm on 1oth May 2025 the Chandigarh Air siren is blown. There are warnings of airstrikes on Chandigarh and the nearby areas. Soon after the siren, there is Blackout in the entire city and the Chandigarh Administration has requested everyone to stay Indoors.
What Chandigarhians need to do during this Blackout.
- Make sure to keep all the lights off.
- Stay Inside the house and cover all the windows.
- Don’t go outside in balconies
