Why CNG Cars Are Making a Strong Comeback in India : Until a few years ago, CNG cars were thought of as basic addition utility vehicles solely for cost saving fuel. Now, by the year 2025, this particular narrative completely changed. CNG cars are reaching back into the Indian scenario now, and it’s not only about fuel efficiency anymore. With petrol rates soaring, better technology, and fancier CNG models, these have emerged as real feasible cars for Indian consumers to opt for as daily commuters.

Fuel Prices Driving the Change

High prices of petrol and diesel have been a great reason for the revival of CNG cars. CNG, the other hand, is simply selling at almost half of that rate per kilogram. So, it is being preferred by many to cut their running cost. For a daily commuter, these could save a lot of money in terms of running costs given the volume of traffic in big cities.

In these models, factory-fitted CNG is provided from Maruti Baleno, Hyundai Exter, and Tata Punch. There are features of these cars that include touchscreen displays, alloy wheels, and dual airbags-meaning these have such safety features and not compromise their designs.

Earlier generations of CNG cars complained regarding a lack of power, boot space, etc.; however, this is changing rapidly. Today’s new-generation CNGs are performing better, accompanied by dual-cylinder setups which can clear up space. So, CNG cars now provide a good platform for family needs and long drives as well.
