Ingredients for making rice chilla :
- Cooked rice—1 cup
- gram flour—1/2 cup
- Onion—1ly chopped)
- Tomato—1 (finelyed)
- Green chili—1
- Ginger—1 tspd)
- Coriander leaves—2 tbsp
- Turmeric—1/4 tsp
- chili powder—1/4 tsp
- salt—according to taste
- Water—as per need
- Oil—for frying
Method of making rice chilla :
In a large bowl, mash the cooked rice lightly. Now add gram flour, onion, tomato, green chili, ginger, green coriander, and all the spices. Make a batter by adding water little by little. The batter should be neither too thin nor too thick. Heat the pan and apply light oil.
Pour the batter with a ladle and spread it in a circular shape. Fry on medium flame till it becomes golden and crispy on both sides. Serve hot rice chilla with coriander-mint chutney or curd.
