Eligibility Criteria
The following are the eligibility criteria for the Railway Technician Vacancy 2025:
Educational Qualification
- Position Name Educational Qualification
- Technician Grade-I Signal Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or Diploma/Degree in Engineering.
- Technician Grade-III 10th/Matriculation pass + ITI in relevant trade from an institute recognized by NCVT/SCVT. Or
- 10th/Matriculation pass + Apprenticeship Course in relevant trade.
Age Limit
- Technician Grade-I (Signal) 18 to 36 years
- Technician Grade-III 18 to 33 years
Age Relaxation
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (NCL): 3 years
- Ex-Servicemen (UR/EWS): 3 years (after deducting service period)
- Ex-Servicemen (OBC-NCL): 6 years (after deducting service period)
- Ex-Servicemen (SC/ST): 8 years (after deducting service period)
Application Fee

Selection Process
The selection process for the RRB Technician Vacancy 2025 consists of the following stages:
Computer-Based Test (CBT)
Objective-type questions.
Subjects: Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Science, General Awareness.
Separate syllabus for Grade I and Grade III.
Document Verification
Scrutiny of documents of candidates qualified in CBT.
Medical Examination
Check for physical and mental fitness as per the Railway Medical standards.

Salary
The candidates selected under the Railway Technician Vacancy 2025 will get the following salary and allowances:
- Technician Grade-I Signal: Pay Level-5 (₹29,200/- Basic Pay) + Dearness Allowance and other allowances.
- Technician Grade-III: Pay Level-2 (₹19,900/- Basic Pay) + Dearness Allowance and other allowances.
