Ingredients to make semolina pudding:
Semolina (Rava) 1 cup
ghee, 1/2 cup
sugar, 3/4 cup (according to taste)
Water, 2 cups Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
Cashews and almonds 10-12 (chopped)
Raisins 1 tbsp
Method of making semolina pudding:
Heat ghee in a pan. Fry cashews, almonds, and raisins till light golden brown and keep aside. Now add semolina in the same ghee and fry till golden brown on medium flame. When semolina starts emitting a light fragrance and turns golden brown, understand that the semolina is roasted. Now add hot water slowly and add sugar as well. Mix quickly so that lumps do not form. Now cook on low flame for 5-6 minutes till the water dries up and the pudding thickens. Finally, add cardamom powder and roasted dry fruits. Serve hot. You can eat semolina pudding as is or serve it with puri and potato curry.
