Skoda Octavia RS : So, here we have the Skoda Octavia RS set for 2025, creating quite the applause during its homecoming to India, and with it car enthusiasts would rejoice who fancy a performance machine with an exterior along with performance and features belonging to a high-performance premium league alongside pending competition. Last seen in 2020, the sporty sedan has been put to rest.
Aggressive and imposing is the first impression of the new Octavia RS, more than ever so on the exterior. Out front, it gets a blacked-out butterfly grille and sharp-looking matrix LED headlights, sporty bumpers with large intakes, and 19-inch alloy wheels. From the back, the roof spoiler, split LED tail lamps, and dual exhausts give it a true performance disposition. Adding to the look is a lowered suspension that heightens the sporty appeal of the car among the Indian populace.

Under the hood, the Octavia RS boasts a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol powertrain that produces about 265 PS and 370 Nm of peak torque. The Octavia is coupled to a 7-speed dual-clutch DSG automatic transmission, which does 0-100 km/h in a mere 6.4 seconds. In matters of driving-fun, it leaves nothing to be desired with an electronically-limited top speed of 250 km/h.
On the inside, sporty premium interiors in red and black, flat-bottom steering wheel, sports seats, and metallic pedals. The car also comes with a large 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system, fully digital instrument cluster, head-up display, panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, and ventilated seats, ensuring everything that is modern and genuinely tech-savvy.
In terms of safety features, this also receives augmentation with 10 airbags, electronic stability control, tyre pressure monitoring, and ADAS functions like lane assist and adaptive cruise control. Thus, this is not only a fast car but very safe for everyday use, too.

The 2025 Octavia RS shall be brought to India via Completely Built Unit (CBU) route, expected to be priced between Rs 45-50 lakh (ex-showroom). The launch is expected in mid-2025, and booking may be limited considering restricted imports.
