According to the sources, Jyoti Malhotra is found to be a Pakistani asset in making. She is a Haryana-based social media influencer. Malhotra’s 2023 visa application to Pakistan and her connection with Danish, a key figure of the Pakistan High Commission, have brought her into focus. As of now, she is in custody.
Jyoti is a YouTube influencer running a channel with the name ‘ Travel with JO’ who has visited Pakistan many times and put herself in the attention of the police. According to the Police, she is a long-term asset in making for narrative warfare. She has also been invited to the Pakistani High Commission gatherings and parties in Delhi, and the videos of which are available on her YouTube channel. Police officials claim that she is Pakistan’s source of information.
But here the questions raised are ‘how she’s been lured to become the informant or spy of Pakistan.

Expelled Pakistani Diplomat – Danish alias Ehsan-ur-Rahim
The one name which is common in videos of Malhotra is Danish who is a Pakistani officer stationed at Pakistan High commission in New Delhi. It is claimed by Hisar Hp Shashank Kumar Sawan, that she has been in regular contact with Danish during the 4 day conflict between India and Pak after operation sindoor. However, Danish has been declared a persona non grata and expelled by India.
It is also reported that the Danish befriended her in their first meeting, and they also had conversations over the call. Ali Ahwan, Danish’s associate, arranged her stay in Pakistan about two years ago, according to the FIR lodged at Civil Lines police station on May 16th.
“It is also reported that – Ali Ahwan arranged a meeting with Pakistani security and intelligence officials where she met Shakir and Rana Shahbaz. She also mentioned that to avoid any suspicion, she saved the contact number of Shakir as ‘Jat Randhwa’. She stayed in contact with all the above people even after she came back to India. It is also reported by NDTV that she was in contact with all the above people on all the major social media platforms such as WhatsApp, Snapchat, and Telegram.

On May 13th, three days after a ceasefire, Danish was expelled by the Indian government for spying. And after two days, police arrested Jyoti Malhotra.
Police are now tracing each and every record of her trips to Pakistan and China. They are also investigating the money trail for her sponsored trips.
