Ingredients to make Paneer Do Pyaza :
Paneer – 200 grams
Onions – 2 large
Tomatoes – 2
Green chillies – 2 (long chopped)
Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tablespoon
Oil – 2 tablespoons
Coriander leaves – for garnishing
Turmeric powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander powder – 1 teaspoon
Red chilli powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Garam masala – 1/2 teaspoon
Kasuri methi – 1/2 teaspoon
Salt – according to taste
Method Preparation of Paneer Do Pyaza :
Cut one onion into slices and finely chop the other. Chop the tomatoes finely. Fry the paneer: Fry the paneer cubes till light golden and remove them in a plate. Heat oil in a pan. Add ginger-garlic paste and fry. Add finely chopped onions and cook till golden.
Now add tomatoes and fry till they become soft. Add spices: Add turmeric, red chilli powder, coriander powder, salt and fry well till the spices leave the oil. Add sliced onions and green chillies: Fry for a while to get a light crunchy texture. Add paneer: Add roasted paneer pieces and mix well. Finishing: Add garam masala, kasuri methi and some coriander leaves. Serve: Serve hot paneer do pyaza with tandoori roti, naan or jeera rice.
