Method of preparation making Chili Paneer :
Make a thick batter by mixing flour, cornstarch, salt, black pepper, and some water in a bowl. Dip the paneer cubes in this batter and fry in hot oil till golden brown. Take out the paneer and keep it on tissue paper. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan. Add garlic, green chili, onion, and capsicum and fry on high flame for 2-3 minutes. Now add soy sauce, chili sauce, tomato ketchup, and vinegar. If you want gravy, then add 1/2 cup water and 1 tsp cornstarch dissolved in water. Now add fried paneer and stir for 2 minutes. Sprinkle green chili on top. Garnish with onions. Serve hot Chilli Paneer with noodles, fried rice, or Hakka noodles. Dry Chilli Paneer can also be served as a starter. Do not cook the paneer for too long, otherwise it may become hard. Roasting vegetables on high flame keeps their color and crunch intact. If you want a gravy version, then definitely add a solution of water and cornstarch.
