Delhi-NCR Battles Sudden Storm Fury

Drama of Saturday: In Delhi-NCR, sudden and dramatic changes in weather as winds close to 50 kmph blew across the city, uprooting shed of Ashok Nagar Metro station. Already the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) had issued storm alerts for 24 states, and at this point the clouds had started to pour over Delhi. Areas including Maharani Bagh, Mayur Vihar and Noida among Ghaziabad received the rains with just an amount of 1 mm recorded by 3 PM(as brief but much needed relief from the suffocating heat).
