Suzuki e-Access Electric Scooter : A new stir has started in the Indian two-wheeler market, as Suzuki has started the production of its first electric scooter e-Access in India. This scooter was first introduced at the India Mobility Global Expo 2025 and now preparations for its launch are in full swing. This move of the company shows that it is now completely serious about electric mobility and wants to bring a reliable electric option to Indian customers.
Suzuki e-Access uses Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery, which is known for its longevity and better safety. In this scooter, the battery is mounted directly on the chassis and powers an electric motor integrated with a swingarm. This motor generates 4.1 horsepower of power and 15 Newton meters of torque, allowing this scooter to reach a top speed of 71 kilometers per hour.

There are two options for battery charging – standard and fast charging. With a standard 240 watt charger, it takes about 4 hours 30 minutes to charge the battery from 0 to 80 percent and about 6 hours 42 minutes for full charge. At the same time, with the help of fast charging, 80 percent charge is possible in just 1 hour 12 minutes and full charge in 2 hours 12 minutes.
e-Access is being specially prepared in India but it will also be exported to international markets. This scooter is also very stylish in appearance and it will be offered in three unique color schemes. The first is Matte Bordeaux Red with Metallic Matte Black, the second is Matte Fibroin Gray with Pearl Grace White and the third is Pearl Jade Green which comes with a gray shade. In these colors, this scooter will create a distinct identity on the city roads.
This scooter also has several riding modes – Eco, Ride A and Ride B – which work according to different driving needs. Apart from this, reverse mode has also been given in it, which makes it even easier to reverse the scooter. Suzuki has left no stone unturned in its testing. In this, stringent tests like drop test, submersion test, vibration trial, high temperature and crush situation have been done on the battery and other components, so that users can get reliable performance in all conditions.
Suzuki has also started preparations at the dealership level. The company is making its network EV-ready and technicians are being given special training for servicing and maintenance of electric vehicles. This means that users will also get a great experience of EV service in the coming time.
