The Electric Game Changer : Mahindra XUV 3XO EV Gears Up to Challenge Punch EV

The market for electric vehicles in India is growing rapidly and Mahindra does not want to be left behind in this race. The company recently launched its two new electric SUVs – XEV 9e and BE 6, which got a very good response. Now the company is preparing to launch another new electric car, which will be named – Mahindra XUV 3XO EV.

This electric SUV is being made especially for those who want an affordable, stylish and technology-rich car. This EV of Mahindra is being brought especially to compete with the Tata Punch EV and it can also be the cheapest electric SUV of the company till date.

Look of XUV 3XO EV – You will get a new style from the identity

While the design of the XUV 3XO will be similar to its petrol-diesel model, the company will also make some special changes in it so that it looks like a true EV. In this you can see a new close front grille, a new bumper design, and exclusive EV color options.

The front of this SUV will be given LED projector headlights, C-shaped LED DRLs and connected LED tail lights at the rear, which will give it an even more premium look. Apart from this, the charging port has been placed above the front wheel on the right side of the car, which is becoming a common trend in EV design.

Battery and Range – Long journey in full charge

The XUV 3XO EV can be given a 34.5 kWh battery, which is also seen in the base variant of Mahindra XUV400. This battery can give a range of up to 400 kilometers in a single charge.

Apart from this, DC fast charging support will also be available in this car, so that you will be able to charge the battery to a great extent in a few minutes. This feature is special for those who go on long journeys and do not want to waste time at the charging point again and again.

Interior and Features – Combo of Technology and Comfort

The cabin of the XUV 3XO EV will remain the same as the company’s petrol/diesel model, but some new elements will make it different. The 10.25-inch floating touchscreen in it will support wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Other special features may include:

Along with all this, the quality of the seats, dashboard trim and upholstery can also be made slightly different and premium so that this electric version feels different.

No compromise in safety either

Mahindra has already been presenting its vehicles strongly in terms of safety, and the same is expected from the XUV 3XO EV. There are chances of getting a 5-star safety rating in it.

Talking about the dimensions and space of the car, it will be as big as its ICE model, which will provide ample seating and luggage space.

When will it be launched in India?

The XUV 3XO EV has been spotted on Indian roads several times during testing. This makes it clear that Mahindra can launch it soon – it is expected that this car can be launched in India in the second half of 2025.

Why is this car special?

Challenging the Tata Punch EV is not an easy task, but Mahindra is going to enter the market with better features, more range and tremendous looks in this SUV. If its price is kept right, then it can become a very strong option for Indian customers.
