Top 5 Electric Scooter Brands in India : The trend of electric two-wheelers is growing rapidly in India and now it has become a strong market. The data of which companies’ electric scooters were liked the most by the people in the last financial year 2024-25 has come out. This report is based on the data received from SIAM and Vahan portal. Let’s take a look at the top 5 companies-

1. Ola Electric

Ola Electric is consistently leading the EV segment. In FY25, the company sold a total of 3,29,948 electric scooters, which is slightly less than last year (3,44,141 units were sold in FY24). There was a decline of about 4% in sales, but still Ola remained on top.

Ola has the largest range of models in India like – S1 Air, S1 X, S1 X+, S1 Pro and S1 Pro+.

2. TVS Motor

TVS performed brilliantly with the iQube scooter and secured second place with sales of 2,72,605 units. In FY24, it sold 1,89,896 units, that is, there was an increase of about 44% this time.
iQube comes in three variants – Base, S and ST, which have different battery options. TVS’s dealership network is also playing an important role in its success.

3. Bajaj Auto

Bajaj has almost doubled the sales of Chetak scooter. 2,59,961 units were sold in FY25, while this figure was 1,25,894 in FY24. That is, a growth of 106.5% was seen.

The new models of the Chetak 35 series – 3501 and 3502 – were launched in December 2024 and the demand increased significantly in just a few months.

4. Ather Energy

Bengaluru-based Ather company also made a lot of progress this year. 1,55,405 scooters were sold in FY25, which is much higher than the 1,07,894 units of FY24. This is an increase of about 44%.

The major models of the company are – 450S, 450X and limited edition 450 Apex. Apart from this, people are also liking the new Rizta scooter, which is the cheapest Ather scooter till date.

5. Hero Vida

Hero MotoCorp sold 58,503 units in FY25 under its electric series Vida. In FY24, this figure was just 19,805, i.e. a growth of more than 195%.
The Vida V1 and V2 scooters are currently on sale and the company is expanding its EV network across the country along with new affordable models.
