Perhaps this is the reason why many companies are going to launch some completely new models along with bringing facelifts of their existing models in the coming years. 1. Kia Carens Facelift
Kia Motors is going to launch a new facelift model of its popular MPV Carens in India soon. The testing of this vehicle has been seen many times on the roads of India. It will get new LED headlights, fresh DRLs and a slightly changed bumper, which will make its look more attractive than before.
According to some reports, smart features like 360-degree camera and ADAS can also be found in it. The engine will remain the same old setup – 1.5L petrol, turbo petrol and diesel options.
2. Kia Carens EV
The electric version of Carens is also included in the company’s planning and it can be launched in the second half of 2025. Its design will be similar to the facelifted ICE version but there will definitely be some changes according to the EV. It is believed that it will be given a battery pack of Hyundai Creta EV, so that this car will be able to run for about 400 kilometers on a single charge.
3. Renault Triber Facelift
The Renault Triber, launched for the first time in 2019, is now going to get its first major update. The company can introduce its facelifted version soon. It can see a new grille, refreshed bumper and a sharper look.
There will also be slight changes in the interior – such as a new dashboard design and updated features. However, the engine will remain the same 1.0 liter naturally aspirated petrol unit.
4. MG M9 (Electric MPV)
At the 2025 Auto Expo, MG Motor has showcased its premium electric MPV M9 in India. Its booking has also started and its sale can start in the coming months.
This car will come with a large 90kWh battery and its range will be around 430 km. Its power output is 245 bhp and 350 Nm. In India, this car will compete with vehicles like Kia Carnival and Toyota Vellfire.
5. Nissan’s new 7-seater MPV
Nissan is preparing to bring a new 7-seater compact MPV to India, which will be based on the platform of Renault Triber. A glimpse of it has been seen in the company’s teaser, in which its look looked quite modern and premium.
Talking about the engine, it will have a 1.0 liter 3-cylinder petrol engine, which will give 72 bhp power and 96 Nm torque. It can have the option of 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox. It can be launched in the financial year 2025-26.
