Toyota Land Cruiser FJ (Mini Fortuner) : Toyota is soon going to add a new name to its famous Land Cruiser series. This time the company is working on an SUV that will look strong but will be considered the cheapest Land Cruiser in terms of price. This SUV can be named Land Cruiser FJ and it will be introduced internationally for the first time in early 2026.
This SUV was first glimpsed through a teaser image in 2023, where it was placed alongside the LC300, Prado (LC250) and 70 Series. After this, the company also filed a trademark named “Land Cruiser FJ”, which further intensified the discussions about this new model.
What will be its design?
So far no official information has been revealed about its design, but according to what has been guessed from a teaser, it will have a straight and high body, large tires, high ground clearance and a spare wheel on the rear side. Overall, its look will be like a rough-tough off-roader.

Size and platform
The length of the Land Cruiser FJ will be around 4.5 meters and its wheelbase is said to be around 2,750mm. This size will be the same as the Toyota Corolla Cross SUV sold in the foreign market. This SUV will be built on the company’s IMV 0 platform – the same platform that is also given in the Toyota Hilux Champ. That is, this SUV will be strong but not expensive.
Engine and power
This SUV is expected to get a 2.7-liter petrol engine, which will give 161 bhp of power and 246Nm of torque. It will be mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox and will come with a 4-wheel drive system. A hybrid version can also be brought in some countries.
Will it be launched in India or not?
So far, no information has been given by the company about launching this SUV in India. But if the ever-increasing prices of Fortuner are to be seen, then an affordable, 4WD and ladder-frame SUV can make a good place in the Indian market.
