U.S. and Israel Launch Surprise Airstrikes on Iran’s Nuclear Sites — Will This Trigger World War?

U.S. joins Israel in powerful strikes on Iran’s key nuclear facilities as Trump warns of more attacks if Tehran does not accept peace. War fears grow across the globe.

Trump Confirms Strikes on Iran’s Nuclear Sites

In a powerful national address on Saturday night President Donald Trump said U.S. B2 stealth bombers had teamed up with Israeli forces and struck three of Iran’s major nuclear facilities. He said the goal was to force Iran to choose peace or face even stronger consequences.

Inside the Operation in Iran

This marked one of the boldest U.S. military actions in Iran in decades. Trump confirmed the use of B2 bombers which are central to the U.S. nuclear strategy. The jets targeted sites tied to Iran’s uranium program including Fordow Natanz and another near Isfahan.

A Harsh Warning for Iran’s Leaders

With Vice President JD Vance Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth beside him Trump said Iran must now make peace or prepare for far worse. He made it clear that there are still many targets left in Iran and future strikes would be even faster and more deadly.

Peace or Pain Ahead for Iran

“For 40 years Iran has said Death to America and Death to Israel” Trump said. “Now there will be peace or there will be tragedy in Iran far worse than anything we have seen in the past week.” He added that the U.S. can take out most of the remaining targets in just minutes.

Strikes Shared First on Truth Social

Before speaking to the nation Trump posted on Truth Social that the mission had gone very well. He said U.S. aircraft had exited Iranian airspace safely. “There is not another military in the world that could do this” Trump wrote while praising the American troops.

Political Heat Back in Washington

Though Trump praised Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and called the teamwork historic many Democrats slammed the move. Rep Alexandria Ocasio Cortez said the strikes were unauthorized and unconstitutional and called it grounds for impeachment.

What Comes Next in the Middle East

This major strike may bring big changes in the region. It could lead to more attacks by Iran or its proxy groups and raise global oil prices. As of now the world is watching to see if this leads to real peace or a much bigger war.
