Upcoming Electric Cars : India’s electric vehicle market is going to get even hotter in the remaining months of the year 2025. Many well-known automobile companies are preparing to introduce their new EV cars by the end of this year. These include big companies like Maruti Suzuki, Tata, Mahindra, MG and Kia. Know below about those 8 upcoming electric vehicles, which can soon be seen running on Indian roads.

1. Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara

Maruti’s first big electric SUV e-Vitara can come to Nexa dealerships by September this year. The company claims that this car can cover a distance of more than 500 km on a single full charge. In this you will get features like a large touchscreen system, digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof and level 2 ADAS. This vehicle is built on the company’s e-HEARTECT platform and was first shown at BMGE 2025.

2. Tata Harrier EV

Tata Motors introduced the electric version of Harrier at the India Mobility Global Expo 2025. This premium electric SUV will come with a 75 kWh battery and will offer a range of more than 500 km. It will have a dual motor and all-wheel drive system, which will enable it to deliver around 500 Nm of torque.

3. Tata Sierra EV

Sierra, another popular car from Tata, is now coming in electric form as well. Its production model was shown at the Expo 2025. It is expected to be launched by the end of 2025 or early 2026. It will have a combination of modern technology with classic looks.

4. MG Cyberster

MG Motor is going to introduce its first electric sports car ‘Cyberster’ in India next month. It will be a two-door convertible car, which will have stylish design with strong performance. It will be sold through MG Select outlets.

5. MG M9 MPV

Another new offering from MG will be the M9 electric MPV, which will be equipped with comfortable interiors and features. It will have a driving range of over 450 km and will also be sold at MG Select showrooms. It will be perfect for both family and business use.

6. Mahindra XUV 3XO EV

Mahindra may launch its new electric SUV XUV 3XO EV soon. It has been seen several times during testing. This car will be in the range below the XUV400 and will come in two battery options. Its estimated range will be around 450 km. Its arrival will give a direct competition to the Tata Punch EV.

7. MG Windsor EV Long Range Version

MG is also going to bring a new long range version of its Windsor EV, which will have a larger battery of 50 kWh. This version will give a range of about 460 km and will come with fast charging support. More new technologies can be added to it.

8. Kia Carens EV

Kia Motors may launch the electric version of its popular family car Carens in the market by the end of 2025. It is expected to have a range of around 450 km. Its features and technology can largely match the Hyundai Creta Electric.
