An Emotional Blow for Vikrant Massey
Janking to Instagram Vikrant Massey was able to express his distress, with a post that stated:
“I send my condolences to each family who lost someone in the Ahmedabad air crash today. My uncle, Clifford Kundar, lost a son; my cousin, Clive Kundar. He was working as the First Officer on that flight.”
He finished the note with a prayer for all the families grieving asking, “May God give you strength and healing in this devastating time.”

242 Onboard, Nation’s Grief
There were 230 passengers on the flight along with 2 pilots and 10 crew members. Just minutes after the flight took off at 1:39 PM, the plane collided with the B.J. Medical College hostel in Ahmedabad. The images from the scene are horrendous. The entire country is still trying to make sense of what has taken place. The loss is incomprehensible.

The crash shook not only families, but it shook an entire industry. Salman Khan ,cancelled his scheduled Indian Supercross Racing League event out of respect for the victims.
Meanwhile the makers of the movie ‘Kannappa’ starring Vishnu Manchu and Akshay Kumar cancelled the trailer launch event that had been scheduled for June 13. The director Mukesh Kumar Singh stated that this is not the time for celebrations but to grieve.
