Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line Launched in India Today – Bold Design and Powerful Features Revealed

Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line launched in India : Volkswagen has launched its premium SUV Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line in India today i.e. on 14 April 2025. This vehicle is a sporty and more feature-loaded version of the company’s popular Tiguan SUV, which is now also made available in India. This car has been imported as a completely CBU (Completely Built-Up) unit, that is, it is a completely built-in foreign unit which has been brought directly to India.
The new Tiguan R-Line gets a 2.0 liter TSI turbo petrol engine which has now become more powerful than before. This engine produces 204 PS of power and 320 Nm of torque. It is mated to a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox and also has Volkswagen’s famous 4MOTION all-wheel drive system. The company claims that this SUV now gives a mileage of about 12.58 km per liter, which can be considered good in this powerful segment.
Talking about the design, it has the special styling of R-Line which includes LED light bar in the front, new bumper with ‘R’ badge, new light design in the rear and large 19-inch alloy wheels. Its length is 4539 mm, width 1859 mm and height 1656 mm, while the wheelbase is 2680 mm. That is, it is a big and muscular SUV that gives great presence on the road.
