As per the official report from Cricbuzz, the name of the Captain will be announced on 23 May. Media Press conferences have also been scheduled by the BCCI for the same date to announce the name. Soon after the IPL 2025, India has to tour England in a 5 match test series. As per Cricbuzz, the Captain will be announced even before the announcement of the team that is going to England.
