Both the motorcycles are very popular in India and have an enormously huge fan following. But although they are using the same engine, both of them are designed for two totally different kind of riders.

The Yamaha R15 V4 possesses a fully faired body, i.e., body panels above the engine. It has the appearance of a race bike. If you’re fond of that sporty aggressive appearance, then you are definitely going to be in love with the R15 V4.

MT 15 V2 is a naked streetfighter bike. That is, the engine is exposed, and it is muscular and aggressive-looking. It appears cool and bold, particularly in cities.

2. Riding Comfort

The R15 V4 is, however, slightly more aerodynamic and therefore easier to drive at high speed. It has a quick shifter and traction control (on some models).

4. Mileage

Both have the same mileage  40 to 45 km/liter, depending on your vehicle. MT 15 V2 can give some mileage in city driving conditions because of the smooth way in which it moves.

MT 15 V2 can save some amount of petrol in city driving conditions.

5. Price

Yamaha R15 V4 is pricier than the MT 15 V2. It is because it has extra features and a racing-style appearance. If budget is an issue, the MT 15 V2 is cheaper.

MT 15 V2 is money for money if you don’t require the racing features.
