The road to the century was not easy. As he crossed the 90s he started getting cramps but like a warrior who would not give up Jaiswal held firm. He took short medical breaks and stretched and pushed through the pain so he could reach his well deserved hundred. He raised his bat with a single and the crowd went wild and so did social media.

This century was more than just about personal success so it placed him among cricket’s greats. Yashasvi is now the third youngest Indian to score centuries in both England and Australia and that record was earlier held by Tendulkar and Rishabh Pant.
