Kawasaki Ninja 650 Launched in India – New Emission Update, Price, and Full Details

Kawasaki has officially launched the 2025 model of its famous sports tourer bike Ninja 650 in India. The company is constantly updating its vehicles according to the new and strict BS6 P2 OBD2B emission standards. Under this process, some time ago the 2025 Kawasaki Eliminator 400 was launched in India, and now in this sequence, the new avatar of Ninja 650 has also come to the Indian market.
Launch and price information
The ex-showroom price of the new 2025 Ninja 650 in India has been kept at Rs 7.27 lakh. This price is about ₹ 11,000 more than the old MY24 version. However, for those who have a limited budget, the 2024 model is still available in stock and discounts of up to Rs 25,000 and additional offers are also being given on it.
New color and design update
This time the Ninja 650 has been introduced in only one color – Lime Green. But it looks different from the old Lime Green as it now also includes contrast colors like white, yellow and black. Subtle changes are also seen in the finishing and graphics of the bike. However, the overall design, body shape and aerodynamic fairing of the bike have been kept exactly the same as before.
The full fairing of the Ninja 650 not only gives the bike a sporty look, but also protects it from wind gusts at high speed, making riding more comfortable.
Features and comfortable riding experience
The new Ninja 650 also has all the features that make it an excellent mid-weight sports tourer. In this you get:
- Dual LED headlights, which give great vision with bright light
- Fairing mounted mirrors, which give the bike a racing look
- Slight up right riding position, which makes long distance riding comfortable
- Underbelly exhaust, which helps in balancing the weight of the bike
- Stylish LED taillight and halogen indicators
- Stepped rear seat, which gives enough space and comfort to the pillion as well
Talking about the suspension and braking system, the bike has:
- Telescopic front forks
- Rear monoshock suspension
- Dual front disc brakes and dual-channel ABS
- 17-inch alloy wheels
Engine and performance
The biggest update has been done in the engine of the bike so that it can fit according to the new emission norms. The new Ninja 650 gets the same 649cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that now produces 67 bhp and 64 Nm of torque. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and the bike weighs around 196 kg.
Competition and price balance
The Ninja 650 is still a smart and balanced option in the Indian market. Even though its price has increased slightly, its direct competitors like the Triumph Daytona 660 and Honda CBR650R are much more expensive. Also, those bikes have three-cylinder or four-cylinder engines, which make them premium but more expensive than the Ninja 650.
