6 Upcoming Compact ICE Cars Launching Soon in India – Maruti, Hyundai, Nissan, Renault & More

The compact car market is set to see a new stir as many big companies are working fast towards launching their next petrol and diesel engine models. Six new cars can hit the roads in the coming months, some of which are facelifts and some are brand new. Let’s know about them in detail one by one:
1. Maruti Suzuki Fronx Hybrid Version
Maruti is now working towards introducing the Fronx with a smart hybrid system. The new version of this car can bring a mild hybrid setup with a 1.2 liter Z12E petrol engine. Recently its testing model has been seen on the roads, which makes it clear that its development is in the final stages. It is likely to arrive by the end of 2025 or early 2026.
2. Nissan’s new B-MPV
Nissan is preparing a new multi-purpose vehicle which will be based on the platform of Renault Triber. It is being seen as an affordable but smartly designed family car. Nissan’s new global design theme can be seen in its exterior and it will be built in the country with heavy localization. Launch can happen in the last months of 2025.
3. CNG model of Nissan Magnite
Nissan Magnite is now going to be brought with CNG option. For those who want less fuel cost and more mileage, this can be a great option. Testing of this CNG version has already started and it is expected to be unveiled in the coming few months.
4. New look of Renault Kiger (facelift)
Renault’s popular compact SUV Kiger is now ready to return in a new style. A glimpse of its facelift model has been seen several times during testing. Along with slight changes from the outside, many technical features are also being added to its interior. There will be no major change on the engine front at the moment.
5. Hyundai Venue – New avatar soon
Hyundai is now going to launch the next generation version of Venue. It can have a new exterior design, re-designed dashboard and modern features. In terms of safety, it can also be given a Level 2 ADAS system, which will make it stronger in the segment. The engine will remain in the same old options, but there will be a significant change in the rest of the features.
6. Tata Altroz Facelift
Tata Motors’ premium hatchback Altroz is now ready to come in an updated form. Its facelift model has been glimpsed several times during testing. There may be some changes in its looks and some new features can be added. However, it is expected to have the same old petrol and diesel engine options.
