Bad luck continued for Karun Nair, Despite the Brilliant efforts in the last match, his Dream Crashes

It seems like no matter how hard Karun Nair put in the efforts in the match, in the end, the bad luck continues to follow him. It really seems like being unlucky, and all the luck is just going in the opposite direction. You can see this in the 32nd match of IPL 2025 with Karun Nair.

On Wednesday, the match was held at Arjun Jaitley Stadium between Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals. Sanju Samson, the Captain of the Rajasthan Royals, won the toss and elected to bowl first. In this article at Chandigarh Breaking, you will get to know all the details about the bad luck that followed Karun Nair.

Jack Fraser-McGurk (9) was the first wicket for the Delhi Capitals at the score of 34. He was caught by Yashasvi Jaiswal in the over of Jofra Archer. Karun Nair came in at 3rd position after the fall of 1st wicket.

Karun Nair’s bad luck followed him in the match, where one of the most unlucky runouts was seen by everyone. Coming with the great form from the last match, everyone was expecting a great score from him, but bad luck came in the middle, making a run out at the score of 0.

After playing an outstanding knock in the last match, Karun Nair from Delhi Capitals gave a brilliant performance in Domestic Cricket. He was ready to make a comeback in the INDIAN Team by showcasing his performance in the IPL. Karun Nair has already been performing well in this season and showing the versatility and class he has in the match against Mumbai Indian where he scored 89 runs off 40 balls, with 5 fixes and 12 fours.

Delhi Capitals have shown great trust in Karun Nair’s batting and moved him to the top batting lineup, and were expecting the same form from the last match. But unfortunately, bad luck followed him, and he got out. He only played 3 balls in the match without making any score on the board. Anyone could have noticed with the facial expression after being run out, how disappointed he was after the early exit.

An expensive Miscommunication

On the first ball of the 4th Over, Karun Nair was run out, when the other batsman Abhishek Porel hit a big shot but the timing went off. As soon as the ball hit the bat, it went towards the point and Nair ran for the single, but somehow Porel didn’t want to take the run and refused. This miscommunication created a run out when Nair ran back towards his side.

The fielder “Wanidu Hasaranga” who was positioned at the point, is counted as the finest fielders at that position. He quickly ran towards the ball and passed it to the Bowler, Sandeep Sharma. Without taking any time, he directly threw the ball towards the stumps.

Though, Nair was coming back towards, but he fell shot off a few inches and the stumps were broken. When checked in the replay, it confirmed that “Nair” was short of a few inches and was out of the crease.

Will the Bounce Back of Nair be Stronger?

The final decision was  taken by the Third umpire where they confirmed the runout and Nair, fully disappointed, had to return to the pavilion. This incident showed how luck can affect even a single ball in cricket.

Now, everyone in the team and the fans are eagerly waiting to see how Karun Nair will bounce back from this incident in the coming matches.
