However this void is missing Daya Bhabhi-the heart of the Gokuldham Society and the one played by Disha Vakani. Ever since she left in 2017 anxious waiting has mounted for her return. Thus, there is a big tease by the producer Asit Modi, which hints that maybe something is in store.

After her pregnancy in 2017, Disha left the show and focused on her family. Now she’s a mother of two. While every time she returns to the rumors and fan theories, nothing about her return ever got proved. He did agree and stated that they are working at full speed to get back into the show. Although he loves to have her back. He says that Disha is otherwise engaged too. On the other hand he said that the team is working to get Dayaben back into the show.

Modi further stated that some actresses have already been shortlisted to take over the role if Disha Vakani does not return. It is really a search for someone who fills Disha’s energy, comic timing and lovable personality. Soon fans may get to see the new Dayaben.
