    Ingredients to make Makhana Kheer :

    Foxnuts, 1 cup

    How to Make Dal Dhokli at Home , Spicy, Tangy & Flavorful

    Milk, 1 liter

    Ghee, 1 tablespoon

    How to Make Atta Halwa ,Soft, Ghee-Rich & Delicious

    How to Make Chole Masala , Spicy, Tangy & Delicious

    Sugar, 1/4 to 1/2 cup (according to taste)

    Cardamom powder 1/2 teaspoon

    Saffron (optional): 5-6 strands

    Chopped almonds and pistachios: 2 tablespoons

     Recipe to make Makhana Kheer:

    Heat 1 tablespoon of ghee in a pan. Add foxnuts and fry on low flame for 4-5 minutes till they become crispy. Then cool them slightly and grind them coarsely (some foxnuts can also be kept whole). Boil milk on medium flame in a heavy-bottom pan. When the milk starts boiling, add foxnuts to it:

    Now cook milk and foxnuts on low flame for 12–15 minutes until foxnuts become soft and milk becomes a little Let it thicken. Now add sugar, cardamom powder, and saffron (if using). Cook for another 3-4 minutes. Add chopped dry fruits and turn off the gas. Makhana Kheer can be served hot or cold.
